Staples entered European markets for the very first time

Staples created a tracking stock for it's internet operations and began selling shares in the stock in private transactions.

Staples acquired Medical Arts Press, which became a subsidiary of Quill

Staples aired its first Super Bowl ad.

2008
Staples acquired Dutch office supplies company Corporate Express, one of the largest office supply wholesalers in the world

2015
Staples announced a plan to acquire Office Depot.
